Gaysorn enjoys exploring different mediums and genres. From narrative and performance to animation, she has directed spots for Nokia, Disney, MTV and Yahoo among many others.

Heralding from a background in camera her visual style has a refreshing playful flavour, while her eye for performance is highly intuitive, sensitive and evident in much of her work.

In 2009 Gaysorn won a Gold Film Lion at Cannes for her Breast Cancer Research TVC and her black comedy short ‘Brave Donkey’ played at festivals across Europe, North America, Australasia and Asia winning best actor awards for Cameron Rhodes.

Gaysorn works between the US and Australasia and is based in New Zealand. She is currently developing a feature film with NZ writer Sophie Henderson.
