Tom Campbell

Moving comfortably between narrative and documentary, Tom combines a passionate commitment to craft with a photographic eye and screenwriters sensibility, to work with both real people and actors. His notable brand campaigns for Bank of Melbourne, Samsung and Bupa in Australia, and for Panera in the US demonstrate this range.

Campbell crafts soulful narratives that deliver on stories in a compelling and cinematic style. His significant documentary film work in collaboration with Behind The Wire and Museums Victoria won the 2018 Melbourne Award for Multiculturalism, and his photography has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions across Australia.

Tom skipped film school opting to sharpen his tools on the job where his attention to detail caught the eye of Garth Davis and Mark Molloy. Having honed his craft under the guidance of Davis, who enlisted him to work with him on the critically acclaimed feature LION, Campbell’s work is now garnering recognition from industry and audiences on a wider stage.
